Meerath Al-Quran for families in Madinah — remote memorization with Tajweed and Islamic sciences for all ages, Saudi time (GMT+3).
Looking for a trusted online Quran academy in Madinah? Meerath Al-Quran Academy offers families in Madinah a complete program to memorize the Quran remotely with Tajweed and study Islamic sciences, with certified male and female teachers and live one-to-one sessions in Saudi time (GMT+3) — all from home.
The Prophet ﷺ sent Musʻab ibn ʻUmayr (may Allah be pleased with him) to Madinah to teach its people the Quran. Today we are honored to serve the people of Madinah with online Tajweed sessions and precise one-to-one follow-up for all ages.
Every family member has a track: Noor Al-Bayan foundations for children (age 4+), solid memorization with a custom plan, recitation correction for adults, Islamic sciences and Azhari curricula, or an Ijazah with a connected chain — with fully flexible times.
Madinah is the city of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the home of his Hijrah, where the first Muslim community learned the Quran from the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions. Al-Bukhari (3925) narrates from al-Baraʼ ibn ʻAzib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the first Companions to arrive in Madinah were Musʻab ibn ʻUmayr and Ibn Umm Maktum, and that they taught the people the Quran — so teaching the Quran was among the first things Madinah knew of Islam, and its circles have flourished there ever since.
From Madinah came the reading of Imam Nafiʻ al-Madani, one of the ten canonical readers, transmitted by his students Qalun and Warsh and still recited by Muslims in many countries today. That heritage is a reminder that the Quran is received orally from a proficient teacher, and our sessions rest on the same principle: the student recites and the teacher corrects on the spot, until those who have mastered it recite the whole Quran to a certified sheikh and receive an Ijazah with a connected chain. The path begins with correcting the articulation of letters and the rules of Tajweed, then memorization with a tailored plan and regular revision, before the full recital to the sheikh.
Visitors come to Madinah all year round, many residents work in serving them, and family life is organized around the prayer times. So we place sessions in Saudi time in the gaps between prayers — between Asr and Maghrib, for example, or after Isha — and offer Noor Al-Bayan foundations for children from age 4, certified female teachers for girls and women, and recitation correction and Tajweed rules for adults, all online from home. Because many expatriate families live in Madinah for years for work or Islamic study, we offer their children English explanations when needed, and the family can continue its plan online if it later moves to another city or country, so nothing is interrupted.

Yes. After a test in which the sheikh confirms the soundness of your memorization and Tajweed, you begin the Ijazah track and recite the whole Quran to him in live one-to-one sessions; the number of sessions and the duration depend on your level and mastery. At the end, the certified sheikh grants you a written Ijazah with the connected chain.
We choose with you a window between two prayers that leaves time for the session and for going to the mosque and back — between Asr and Maghrib, or after Isha — and because prayer times shift between summer and winter, we adjust the slot when needed. In Ramadan, the session can move to a time that suits Taraweeh.
